The Institute is delighted to announce that The Hedgehog Review‘s Fall 2011 issue, “The Roots of the Arab Spring,” is the recipient of the Council of Editors of Learned Journal’s 2012 Best Public Intellectual Special Issue award. The judges praised the timeliness and importance of the issue’s focus, the insightfulness of the content, the accessibility of the prose, and the elegance of the aesthetic presentation, as well as noting in particular the thematic introduction written by Institute faculty Joseph E. Davis.
