Culture Culture is the Institute’s biannual magazine that serves as a site for intellectual exchange and dialogue. Along with interviews, book reviews, and reports on IASC events, Culture publishes short essays and excerpts on relevant cultural topics.

The Hedgehog Review Our nationally distributed journal, The Hedgehog Review, is published three times a year. Each issue addresses a single theme with articles, interviews, book reviews, and a bibliography written by cultural commentators and leading scholars from throughout the disciplines.

Survey of American Public Culture Beginning in 1990, the Institute has conducted the Survey of American Public Culture, a multi-survey project that spans several decades. The data provides a unique ongoing look at America’s political culture, as we empirically map out the cultural contours that define the nation. The survey data and reports are available in book form from the Institute.

Films The Institute and Academy Award-winning filmmaker Paul Wagner are working on two film projects: Faith in the Hood and The Great Democratic Revolution.  Find details and the latest production information here.
