Charles Kromkowski has been a faculty member of the Department of Politics since 2000, an IASC Faculty Fellow since 2003, and the University Social Science Data Librarian since 2011. His past research interests and publications focused on the problem of apportionment, American political development, the history of democratic institutions, and game theoretic methods. His present focus includes a digital database of Virginia elections, GIS methods, and the loss of ineffability.
