Dan Turello
Postdoctoral Fellow
Dan Turello is writing a book about how technologies shape social patterns and the human relationship with surrounding ecosystems. He is particularly interested in historical trends and cultural narratives around consumption, energy conservation, and the environment. Previously, Dan held program officer positions with the Academy for Educational Development (now FHI 360) and the Asia Foundation, where he worked with emerging civil society and political leaders from all over the world.
Dan holds an M.A. in political theory from the Catholic University of America and a Ph.D. in Romance Languages and Literatures from Harvard University.
