Andrew Lynn
Associate Fellow
Andrew is a Ph.D. student in the Sociology Department at the University of Virginia. His interests include sociology of religion, social change, and altruism. He is currently working on his master's thesis exploring the cultural and social contexts that influence commitment to civic engagement, religion, family, and work. Other interests include sociological theories of culture and cognition, sociological approaches to morality, and the cultural logic of individualism in American culture. Andrew graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Political Science. Before his graduate studies, he worked in the nonprofit sector for three years and now draws on that experience to shape his academic exploration of the social world.
