Kathryn L. Wiens
Kathryn L. Wiens, Ed.D. has worked as a teacher and school system administrator in public and independent schools for 15 years and as a scientific researcher for three years. She holds a doctorate in administration, training, and policy studies from Boston University, where she studied single-sex education. Prior to serving as the Director of Academic Advancement at the Council on Educational Standards and Accountability, she served as the Director of Curriculum and Assessment and science department chair at an independent school in Boston. She is the author of the book, Boys Who Achieve, along with numerous articles on gender and learning.
